The applications market is a field in which developers play their best cards to offer users professional tools that compete with the vast market that exists today. In this context and above all to face the famous app Procreate, Adobe launches Fresco.
Adobe Fresco is a drawing app that promises to be the best tool for illustrators and draftsmen. Digital art lovers will be able to use different tools indispensable for the realization of their creations, nodes to create vectorial elements, brushes with which to use new options such as watercolors or oils, use of layers and some other additional feature. Although surely the most striking is Adobe Sensei, an artificial intelligence that the company has developed in recent years and that gives the application a greater realism when used.
Thanks to this AI, the application is able to simulate in a very realistic way the physics that is generated when using different brushes and pressures, how colors are mixed or how a watercolor stroke is absorbed on a canvas. These details will be what, according to Adobe, will make the difference compared to other drawing tools and experiences.
Adobe Fresco is not designed to replace Photoshop or Illustrator, but complements them, as it is a better tool for painting or making illustrations. To better adapt the workflow of Adobe’s desktop tools, Fresco allows users to work with Illustrator and Photoshop vector brushes on the same document.
At the moment the application is in beta phase and if you want to try it you can make a request here. In the coming months they will make the official launch and it will be free.
