Digital Design: Paper Cut Digital Project

Throughout their training at L’Idem, Digital Design students experiment with various techniques to create all kinds of products: packaging, advertising, signage, posters, etc. And in the Creativity course, Guido del Solar proposes practical exercises that allow them to develop their talent in order to carry out groundbreaking and original projects. At L’Idem we train new professionals to be able to offer creative answers to the needs of all types of clients.

Today we share the Paper Cut Digital project carried out by our 3rd year Digital Design students. In this project they have used two techniques to create an advertising piece: paper cut and stop motion. Each proposal shows flat figures placed on a surface that move gradually between shots.

“Bumping bass!”, by Adriana Acuña
In her proposal Adriana has created an ad for “Vamos”, the new collaboration of The Straikerz and Sickmode. A Russian hard bass beat combined with a powerful aesthetic that transports the viewer to the deepest Russia.

“Sex education”, by Cora Guerra
An ad that talks about the clitoris, shows its anatomy and invites people who have it to explore and learn about their own body and sexuality.

“La sofisticada”, by Elisabeth Poncelet
An artisan chocolate shop in Barcelona presents its new product: Exalta Chocolate. A range of real chocolates, made with the best cocoa, which wants to surprise all your senses.

“Travel lovers”, by Léa Meya
Our student has designed a proposal aimed at promoting tourism after the pandemic. An original way to invite people to travel around the world once the crisis caused by Covid-19 has been overcome.

“Life under the sea”, by Richard Billard
A vertical displacement to illustrate a dive in the ocean. Through this journey, Richard proposes an underwater trip in which we can appreciate the biodiversity that exists in the depths of the sea.

“Let nothing stand in your way”, by Arnau Figueras
The concept of this ad is to show the potential of the bicycle, capable of rolling for all types of terrain: city, mountain, desert and even jungle. A self-propelled vehicle with which to live a thousand adventures.

“Jardin Botanique” by Justine Bournet
Representing the uniqueness of the Botanical Garden of Paris to announce the reopening of the garden. In her proposal, Justine has shown the great diversity of species and varieties of flowers, touching and emotional that coexist in the 70 hectares of this space.

“Choose your perspective”, by Marie Bellois
The Palau de la Música has served as inspiration for our student to create her proposal. An advertising spot that offers a new perspective to enjoy a classical music concert. Each circle represents an element of the decor of the exhibition space, and its movement acts according to the music.
