Every year the Association of Art Directors and Graphic Designers (ADG) awards the Laus Awards, unique awards that reward the best Graphic Design and visual communication projects in more than 50 sections and 5 categories: Graphic Design, Digital, Advertising, Audiovisual and Students, thus promoting the excellent work of professionals in the audiovisual field, generating a community and projecting the talent of creators internationally.

Divided into Grand Laus, Gold, Silver and Bronze last week, as part of the activities of Design Week 2019, more than 300 awards have been given to projects as varied as video clips, installations, graphic image, poster, animation or illustration. The two Grand Laus awarded to #findingfariña for its campaign in favor of the book and to the Canada production company for the video for the band Foals stand out. In addition, Ana Zelich, pioneer of television branding, has been awarded the Laus de Honor prize. She develops her work in parallel to the evolution of animation and graphics applied to moving images, from the initial stage of analog to digital television.

Another outstanding prize is the Laus that has been awarded to La Casa Encendida, which throughout its history has opted for design, both in the communication strategy of the foundation itself and in the promotion and dissemination of design culture through content, exhibitions, meetings and spaces for debate and reflection on design, visual communication and creativity. The Young Talent prize went to the Bloc a Block project by Paula Guallar Sancho from BAU, a creative and social project that stands out for its discourse and graphic applications.

The Laus gala continues to be a reference event that serves as a meeting point for professionals in the sector, a night in which the most relevant projects of the year and future creators who in a short time will form part of the guild with their excellent creations are announced.
