“I am very grateful to the teachers at L’Idem”, our alumni told us. “They encouraged me to bet on 2D animation as a future professional.” Today we share our Alumni’s storie in the field of 2D Animation.
How was your experience in “Klaus”?
It was amazing! I have spent more than a year and a half working as an assistant to Clean Up in this Christmas movie directed by Sergio Pablos. A magnificent experience in which I have had the opportunity to work with highly talented professionals, and learn from them every day.
From what you learned in L’Idem, what do you think has been most useful to you?
The first year I joined L’Idem, I hadn’t used any artistic computer software. So it was very helpful for me that the training included classes from the basic level.
What do you value the most about your time at school?
The atmosphere in L’Idem. Warm, familiar and pleasant, both by students and teachers. I also found very interesting the professional meetings organized during my training. The connection between school and enterprises is an essential element at L’Idem. These kind of event allows students to show their portfolio / Demoreel to professionals. These encounters make future practices possible.
What do you take from L’Idem?
I am very grateful to L’Idem teachers, especially Salva de Haro and Carles Prenafeta. Two great teachers who encouraged me to bet on 2D Animation as a future professional.
