Did you know that Animation is one of the few industries that has emerged stronger after the pandemic? According to the Resilience in Animation Report, promoted by the Quirino Awards, the Ibero-American animation industry has maintained its production rate at 100% during the last year. This study explains how animation has emerged stronger from the crisis caused by Covid-19 and why it is a bet for the future at a professional level.

Animation is big business. Nowadays it represents one of the industries with more projection within the audiovisual sector. The production of animation and visual effects content does not cease and, with each passing day, consumers expect higher quality productions and a more immersive experience.

What is the future of the profession? What will be the trends in the coming years? What skills will be demanded from animation professionals? We talked about all this with leading professionals in the sector, regular collaborators of L’Idem Barcelona.
